Who is Morrow?

Morrow Realty Company, Inc. is a company founded in 1961 by the late Robert C. "Bob" Morrow. Today it is a collection of companies, which provides full-service construction and commercial/multi-family real estate services. Based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, the Morrow Companies are one of a few companies in the Southeast which offer sales, leasing, property management, construction, consulting, investment, and development services at one location.

Over the past 15 years, the Morrow Companies has doubled its size and widened its geographical boundaries. The strong growth of the companies is a result of a top-notch professional staff dedicated to providing exceptional work and service to its clients.

When Bob Morrow founded Morrow Realty Company, Inc. in 1961, the company consisted of him and a part-time secretary. He started out as a homebuilder and real estate broker. Soon, he focused a shift in the company to commercial and multi-family properties. Today, it is a collection of companies serving the Southeast and comprising of a home office staff of 24 persons and a field staff of 130 people. The longevity of the companies has been in large part due to the vision of its founder, the exceptional employees and savvy outside business counsel.

Morrow was a brilliant businessman, highly motivated and with one of those rare knacks for conceiving projects and making them happen. But Morrow also was a man who cared about people. Some of the quality showed through the projects that provided housing for elderly and/or low-income people. Such projects were part of his business, true, but Morrow's interest in helping people prompted a genuine enthusiasm and led him deeper into such developments."
