I contracted with Bob Morrow Construction Co., Inc., to perform the design/build of our new sanctuary located in Northport, Alabama. This building of approximately 32,000 square feet incorporated custom millwork and trim, a stained concrete floor, coordination of special audio and visual displays in addition to normal building conditions such as sanitary sewer and utility work, site work, landscaping, concrete, masonry, structural steel fabrication and installation, wood framing, storefront glass and framing, painting, electrical work and fixture installation, plumbing, heating and cooling. My mother lives at Covey Chase Apartments in Cullman, AL. She has lived there for over a year. When I was trying to relocate my mother to Cullman, so she would be closer to my family, I looked at every apartment community in town. I chose Covey Chase because of the overall appearance of the property. I made several trips at night to see if it was quiet and if she would feel secure. After viewing the interior of the apartment, I was sure this was where I wanted my mother to live. The resident manager was more than accommodating and made my mother's transition an enjoyable experience. The maintenance and management of this property is excellent. I have been in the affordable housing industry for 20 years, having managed Rural Development properties. I have yet to go see my mother and find a piece of paper on the grounds. It speaks highly of the manager and the on-site maintenance staff. Believe me, I am a very detailed person. My mother said any maintenance requests are handled almost immediately. Again, I would like to thank your on-site staff for their care and hard work to make this property a property I am proud my mother calls home.
